Job description
The air surface integration officer is an operational officer. His role is to pilot the implementation of air missions, ensuring coordination between different actors: squadrons, intelligence services, support units, and command. He develops flight plans, anticipates tactical and logistical constraints, manages available air resources, and ensures the safety of aircraft and personnel involved. Whether it's a reconnaissance flight, ground support, or external operation, nothing takes off without his green light.
A salary equal between men and women at the same post and equivalent hierarchical level.

To start your career as an air surface integration officer, the job learning process includes:
- Initial military training is 12 weeks at the Air and Space School in Salon-de-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône).
- Professional training differs depending on the positions held
You will follow a paid training:
After passing the entry tests, you are fully integrated into the Air and Space Army's personnel. As such, you benefit from your full salary during the entire training period until you obtain the required certifications to start your job as an air surface integration officer.
As an air surface integration officer, you participate in:
- Strategic mission planning: analysis of context, objectives, means, and operational constraints;
- Preparing mission orders: writing, coordination with squadrons, logistical supervision;
- Conducting operations in real-time: monitoring flights, adapting to unexpected events, coordinating between units;
- Post-mission analysis: debriefings, information feedback, adjustments for future operations;
- Managing priorities and resources in a high-pressure environment, in France and OPEX.
