Job description
The infrastructure responsible is an engineer officer in charge of planning, execution, and monitoring of infrastructure works on air bases. He directs civil engineering and building projects, leads technical teams, and ensures compliance with safety, sustainability, and performance standards.
C'est a strategic role that requires both engineering skills, a comprehensive understanding of military needs, and a keen sense of operational organization.
A salary equal between men and women at the same post and hierarchical level.

To start your career as an infrastructure responsible, the job includes :
- Initial military training is 12 weeks at the Air School in Salon-de-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône).
You will follow a paid training :
After passing the entry tests, you are fully integrated into the Air and Space Army's personnel. As such, you benefit from your full salary during the entire training period until obtaining the required certifications to start your job as a radar technician analyst.
As an infrastructure responsible, you are expected to :
- Conduct feasibility and design studies for infrastructure projects ;
- Supervise construction, renovation, or maintenance work on military buildings, runways, and technical zones ;
- Ensure budgetary, administrative, and regulatory follow-up of projects ;
- Pilot internal or external technical teams ;
- Manage construction site safety and respect for environmental standards ;
- Contribute to the resilience of critical installations, including in operational or OPEX contexts.
