We are looking for our future Embedded Systems Team Lead on a permanent contract (CDI) at the company headquarters in Veyras (07).

YOUR MISSION:

Integrated into the R&D Department, your role will be to ensure the strategic and operational management of the embedded systems team.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

Design and development of embedded software:

  • Design and develop with your team of experts the embedded systems of today and tomorrow (software and hardware products), participating in all phases: from concept definition to transfer to production.

  • Formalize technical specifications and planning, and manage the development cycle with the teams (design, implementation, validation, debugging).

  • Support project teams to ensure project progress in compliance with procedures and the R&D roadmap.

  • Guarantee the robustness and performance of embedded systems to ensure service continuity and an optimal user experience.

  • Participate with your team in the validation of products in their entirety and in their operational environment.

  • Define and deploy development processes (Agile, DevOps…) in a logic of continuous improvement.

  • Ensure active technological watch, anticipate innovations and contribute to their protection (patents).

Supervising and managing the embedded systems team:

  • Manage and support the team on a daily basis (feedback, interviews, leave, problem-solving…)

  • Develop team skills and manage performance (objectives, indicators).

  • Ensure coordination with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, quality).

  • Participate in the definition and monitoring of operating and investment budgets.

Technical support:

  • Handle requests from customer service within your scope and provide appropriate responses and solutions by mobilizing the necessary resources.

  • Ensure product follow-up throughout their lifecycle (analysis, diagnosis, and correction of field defects).

  • Provide with your team expert-level technical support (N2/N3) to internal teams (Customer Service, PMS, Production, International).

  • Facilitate the writing of technical documentation (products, manuals, etc.).


YOUR PROFILE:

  • Engineering degree in industrial computing, electronics, or equivalent

  • Proven experience (min. 10 years) including significant experience in technical team management

  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages, Qt, as well as at least one architecture among: bare-metal, RTOS, client/server.

  • Good knowledge of development environments (Keil, Qt Creator, Visual Studio…), versioning tools (Git), compilation chains, and DevOps tools (GitLab…).

  • Awareness of cybersecurity issues (e.g., Cyber Resilience Act - CRA).

  • Good command of project management and planning methods.

  • Professional English mastered in writing and speaking (minimum B2 level)
