Assigned to a technical support management center for munitions or aeronautical armaments, you play an essential role in support management, maintaining operational condition, supplying and securely storing armaments and munitions. Your expertise guarantees the availability, reliability and implementation of the armament capabilities of the Air and Space Force.

To become an armaments, munitions and pyrotechnics manager, you must follow:

- 12 weeks of training at the Air School, located on the Salon-de-Provence air base. This includes military training and the acquisition of the skills expected for combatants and military leaders within the army.
- Professional training, the duration of which differs depending on the specialties for officer ranks.

You will receive paid training:
As a student or as part of a professional retraining, the financial aspect can be a barrier to entering training. In the Air and Space Force, you receive your salary as an armaments manager from the moment you enter training.

As an armaments, munitions and pyrotechnics manager, you are required to:

- Plan and manage the implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of armaments and munitions;
- Manage and optimize the logistics and technical support of armaments and munitions;
- Supervise the teams of technicians under your responsibility.
