Responsible for Elementary Production Unit (H/F)

With 1,400 employees, the Alstom La Rochelle site is the global center of excellence for designing and manufacturing High-Speed Trains and Tramways.

Your missions

Your role will consist in managing autonomous teams of operators to ensure production (Security, Quality commitments, Costs, Deadlines). You will lead and supervise a production team (between 15 and 25 people).

• Ensure the safety of people, goods, and the environment.

• Supervise production teams (daily activity management).

• Deliver a production that meets quality, deadline, and manufacturing cost objectives,

• Define and implement progress plans for operational results (Quality, Cost, Deadline) and managerial results (absenteeism, safety).

• Develop autonomous production teams (efficiency development of teams, individual and collective skills, and versatility).

• Represent the Direction to personnel.

• Guarantee compliance with safety instructions and maintain equipment in good working order. Take all necessary measures in case of risk.

Quality

• Ensure product manufacturing according to quality requirements demanded by clients:

• Organize problem resolution: participate, report information if necessary, solicit support function assistance, follow up on eradication,

Deadlines

• Direct autonomous team activities to respect the production schedule (anticipate problems),

• Define and implement corrective actions in case of delay compared to the production schedule.

Costs

• Optimize resource allocation, track individual pointages and attendance.

• Manage allocated budget by following indicators (direct labor, general expenses)

Management

• Animate autonomous teams.

• Pilot continuous improvement of results.

• Develop individual and collective performance.

• Represent the Direction and first point of contact for personnel representatives.

• Participate and contribute to implementing the Health, Safety, and Environment management system.

Profile sought

• From an Engineering background or equivalent.

• Your leadership, autonomy, reactivity, and relational qualities will be real assets to your candidacy, as well as a first experience in management.

• You are a force of proposal, solution-oriented, and pragmatic.

• You can work entirely autonomously in English.
