With 1,300 employees, Alstom's site in La Rochelle is one of the 16 industrial sites in France. It is the global excellence center for designing and manufacturing High-Speed Trains and tramways. You will be expected to lead projects and teams in achieving the best compromises for the TGV product.
Your mission
On a daily basis, you will work closely with engineering and project teams, and according to client specifications, to ensure the development of all products and deliverables from control systems and information (electrical, software...) projects attributed to you.
You will be particularly responsible for validating development plans, managing interfaces, and tracking subsystems, as well as supporting industrial teams during initial train assembly.
Here are the main missions on which you will be expected to intervene:
- Validate the application of the development plan, configuration, validation, and management.
- Achieve software quality requirements specified and coordinate responsibilities within the team.
- Ensure the quality of diagrams, equipment, and software.
- Supervise the planning of design and realization of review/design/verification.
- Provide engineering results conforming to commitments, such as software specifications or functional design descriptions, software, electrical diagrams, and product definitions (with the support of the chief electrical engineer), in accordance with commitments regarding deadlines, costs, and quality of engineering.
- Manage interfaces and track subsystems (electrical components, PACIS, CCTV, etc.).
- Maximize standardization and reuse with previous projects.
- Support industrial jobs during initial train assembly and validation zone during testing.
Your profile
- Degree in Engineering.
- You have significant practical experience of at least 5 years in activities related to designing and developing control systems (Control Build, Matlab/Simulink, Matrix or similar tools), as well as electrical design and schematics, ideally in the industry.
- Autonomous and proactive, you like to bring solutions and improvement axes.
- You have already managed a team.
- Knowledge of topologies and interfaces for communication networks.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French.
- Capacity to work in a multicultural and inclusive environment.
