Public Relations Manager

We are a leading global manufacturer of heavy and construction machinery, founded in 1989 and headquartered in China, ranked as one of the top 5 construction machinery manufacturers in the world. We produce excavators, cranes, concrete machinery, and energy equipment.

We are expanding within Mexico and are looking for a Public Relations Manager to contribute to the positioning and strengthening of our brand in the Mexican market, developing strategic relationships with government entities, media outlets, business chambers, sector associations, and other key stakeholders, as well as driving communication initiatives, events, and external relations that support the company's growth and operations in Mexico.

Main Activities:

1. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with government entities, business chambers, sector associations, and other external stakeholders relevant to the company's operation and growth in Mexico.

2. Design and implement local communication, public relations, and brand positioning strategies, aligned with SANY's global objectives and guidelines.

3. Manage relationships with media outlets, specialized media, and digital platforms, including interview requests, press conferences, and dissemination of corporate content.

4. Monitor public opinion and company mentions in relevant media and platforms, identifying potential risks to corporate reputation.

5. Identify, develop, and maintain strategic alliances with media outlets, government organizations, associations, business chambers, agencies, and specialized suppliers.

6. Evaluate and follow up on the performance of external alliances and resources, ensuring their adequate management and contribution to the company's objectives.

7. Represent the company in meetings, events, and external activities when required.

Requirements:

Completed Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communication, Journalism, Marketing, International Relations, Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Brand Communication, Government Affairs, Event Organization, or External Relations Management.

Experience in multinational companies; experience in sectors such as manufacturing, heavy machinery, automotive, energy, infrastructure, or mining will be valued.

Knowledge of the Mexican market and experience in managing relationships with media outlets, government entities, business chambers, and sector associations.

Excellent communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Advanced English - Business English

High capacity for intercultural communication and ease of working with international and multidisciplinary teams.
