In this role, you will contribute to steering the political affairs, communication, and media relations of Pro Infirmis, and you will be the spokesperson for the organization, particularly for French-speaking Switzerland. The workplace can be the headquarters in Zurich or a Pro Infirmis counseling center in French-speaking Switzerland. You will work in close collaboration with the Communication and Policy team at headquarters and in coordination with regional managers.

Your Missions

Policy:

• Take charge of specific socio-political topics within the Policy and Media team, including the development and implementation of positions, demands, and lobbying activities
• Manage political projects and related communication activities
• Draft political content (narratives, key messages, positions, background information, newsletters, etc.) and prepare political briefing dossiers
• Represent Pro Infirmis in political bodies and partner networks

Media:

• Represent Pro Infirmis in the media as a spokesperson
• Implement and evolve the media strategy, in line with the department's strategy
• Draft and coordinate press releases and actively maintain relationships with journalists
• Coordinate media requests, prepare, and accompany speaking engagements
• Plan and design political communication and media work within the framework of projects or campaigns
• Ensure media monitoring and issue management to proactively identify relevant political and societal themes

Your Profile

• Degree from a university of applied sciences or equivalent education in the field of politics, communication, marketing, or media
• Several years of experience in politics and media relations
• Experience in project management
• Proficiency in digital channels as well as print and online formats
• Experience in planning, prioritizing, and managing multiple projects in parallel in a dynamic environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and German; Italian is an asset
• Structured, independent, and solutions-oriented mindset
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain an overview of complex projects
• Team spirit and enjoyment of collaborating with various internal and external partners
