Head of Finance Department - Permanent Contract

The Purpose of Télécom Paris is to train, imagine, and undertake to design digital models, technologies, and solutions for the service of a society and economy respectful of people and their environment.

We are looking for our future financial manager, an expert in public accounting and budgetary management who can combine technical expertise, a team spirit, process optimization, and support for transformation.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

1. Ensure compliance with budgetary, accounting, and legal management rules, as well as the execution of the School's budget

2. Define and disseminate management rules to all relevant stakeholders

3. Manage the attached team and oversee the Department

To succeed in this role, you have significant experience (at least 5 years) in a similar establishment, a research center, or a scientific institution. You have mastered team management and animation, as well as public accounting (GBCP) and public procurement rules. Your expertise also includes management control and analysis.

Will be appreciated:

• Knowledge of SIREPA/PEP tools,

• Proficiency in quality and internal control processes,

• Experience in negotiation in a restrictive regulatory context,

• Drafting of public contracts or the development of public funding requests (PIA, recovery plan, etc.).

Finally, your dialogue skills, your ability to propose solutions, your analytical mind, and your rigor (respect for deadlines and instructions) will make the difference.

Salary indications:

Indicative salary range (excluding annual variable bonus): 45,000 to 58,000 euros gross per year, depending on profile and experience, as defined by our legal framework. Please note: our social contributions are lower than in the private sector.
