Job Description

Purpose:

To guarantee the quality, safety, and efficiency in the production of plastic parts, ensuring that the production processes implemented at medmix Spain comply with the technical, regulatory, and quality standards defined by the company. This involves supervising compliance with established procedures, detecting and preventing defects, and promoting continuous improvement by optimizing processes at all stages of production.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

Team Management and Leadership:

• Coordinate, train, and lead the In Process Control (IPC) human team.
• Plan and supervise daily tasks, foster good practices, and evaluate team performance.
• Promote the professional development of staff and ensure the correct transmission of technical knowledge.

Supervision of Quality Control Processes and Laboratory:

• Manage, supervise, and ensure quality controls in the production process, especially in the areas of injection molding, manual assembly, and automatic assembly.
• Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and quality regulations.

Traceability and Documentation Management:

• Manage the recording and documentation of test and control results, ensuring traceability and compliance with industrial regulations.
• Supervise the quality documentation used during the production process, ensuring its correctness, accessibility, and updating.

Quality Indicators and Continuous Improvement:

• Establish and analyze key indicators related to internal non-conformities.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, propose improvements, and reduce process variability.
• Actively participate and encourage continuous improvement of the quality process within your team.

Training and Quality Culture:

• Prepare and deliver quality training for the Operations area, training operators and shift leaders on procedures and standards.
• Promote a culture of quality and responsibility at all team levels.

Requirements

Experience: At least 4 years of experience working in quality control, and prior experience leading an IPC department is valuable.

Expertise (e.g. professional, technical):

1. Knowledge in quality controls
2. Knowledge in plastic injection or plastic manufacturing
3. Desirable experience in internal and external audits

Education: Technical Degree/University Degree.
