Administrative & Financial Manager - Banking Sector

Finders SA Client: A well-established private bank with a small office in Geneva but in full expansion (fully regulated Swiss subsidiary). Strong ownership and entrepreneurial work atmosphere. It offers traditional private banking services to its clients for many years and is a highly respected global brand. Position: At the head of a small team - including 1 Accountant and 3 Back Office/Operations employees, your main mission will include the following elements: * Ensure the setup and proper functioning of an administrative and accounting system adapted to the size of the company and the nature of its activities * Ensure that the operations carried out by various stakeholders are in line with procedures and legal and internal regulations * Set up and adapt procedures for optimal operation * Control and monitor the activity of the Company to minimize operational risks in general * Assume the management of risks related to the exercise of the company's activities, particularly in the context of asset management Your tasks will include, without being limited to: * Daily control of accounting journals for all operations, including stock exchange journals * Control of treasury * Prepare bank limits, broker, forex, and depositary limits and ensure compliance with these limits * Ensure quality and timely reporting in accordance with legal requirements * Control monthly financial statements established by the accounting department * Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations (quality and timeliness) * Set up recommendations from the audit * Replace the accountant in case of absences * Participate in various committees upon request from the general manager * Follow and manage risks generated by daily activity of the entity * Monitor nostro investments and ensure compliance with limits and control weekly reporting * Ensure proper functioning of the back office team, particularly regarding various replacements during absences * Human Resources with preparation and follow-up of salaries, AVS, and insurance * Ensure vigilance on regulatory news, particularly concerning risk management, to inform the general manager and ensure implementation * Manage and coordinate projects upon request from the general manager The position requires full-time presence in Geneva offices; telecommuting is not possible. Profile: * 8-10 years++ of experience in Swiss banking accounting, control, and risk management - including FINMA reporting * CFO/Head of Finance experience in the banking sector (or Big 4 where you audited small banks) * You are used to working on-site (
