Technical Office Manager

YUME s.r.l. – Injections for construction is the Italian reference for resolving water infiltrations, rising damp, and structural criticalities in residential buildings, industrial facilities, infrastructure, and hydraulic works.

As part of its industrial plan, the company is seeking a Technical Office Manager. The role will contribute to consolidating the technical quality of projects, reducing non-conformities, supporting the Production and Technical-Commercial departments, and fostering structured growth of internal skills.

Work location: Lainate (MI), with frequent travel throughout the national territory (40-60%).

Role Mission

Contribute to company growth by making technical and operational standards transferable, measurable, and replicable. The role will oversee project quality, process improvement, technical documentation, training, and the development of technical-application solutions, transforming field experience into company methodology.

Organizational Placement

The individual will report directly to Management and will operate in close coordination with Production, Technical-Commercial, and operational teams, with autonomy in assessing critical issues, defining application standards, and proposing corrective and improvement actions.

Main Responsibilities

Technical Oversight and Project Quality

• Verification of work progress, compliance with company standards, and execution in a workmanlike manner
• Site inspections based on the technical and qualitative needs of projects
• Identification of non-conformities and definition of corrective actions

Resolution of Site Criticalities

• Technical reference for site criticalities, evaluation of feasible solutions, and definition of intervention methods
• Involvement of Production for resources, timelines, costs, and operational authorizations

Standardization, Processes, and Continuous Improvement

• Analysis of site processes and identification of improvement opportunities
• Formalization of procedures, application standards, and technical instructions

Technical Liaison between Production and Technical-Commercial

• Evaluation and validation of materials, tools, equipment, and third-party suppliers
• Support for pre-commercial offer technical analyses in cases of high technical complexity

Project Documentation

• Preparation and verification of project technical documentation
• Drafting of reporting and verification of work closure reports
• Drafting and verification of bills of quantities, technical specifications, and building practices

Warranty Management

• Technical evaluation of reports, with possible organization of site inspections
• Support for coordinating re-interventions with operational teams
• Verification of the outcome and technical closure of the intervention

Ideal Candidate Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in Technical Offices of construction companies, with direct exposure to construction sites and operational project dynamics
• Solid knowledge of site processes, production logic, and non-conformity management
• Experience in technical quality, site documentation, and formalization of operational procedures
• Pragmatic approach to project management
• Authority, autonomy, reliability, and effective collaboration with Management, Production, Technical-Commercial, operational teams, clients, and suppliers
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Building-Architecture, or equivalent technical disciplines
• Native Italian speaker and English at least B1 CEFR level
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D or equivalent technical drawing tools
• Availability for frequent travel throughout the national territory and aptitude for operating between office activities and site presence
• Driving license B

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in injections, waterproofing, or resins applied to construction
• Good command of Excel and project management/reporting tools
• Experience in testing or validation of materials, tools, or technical-application solutions

• Indicative salary range: € 35,000 - € 50,000 gross per year, defined based on experience and acquired skills
