Purchasing Manager - Fieristico Sector

LHH For a leading company in the Fieristico sector, we are seeking a Purchasing Manager who will be based at the HQ in Piove di Sacco (PD). Responsibilities The candidate, reporting directly to the Planning Director, will have the task of overseeing the entire purchasing area, coordinating directly with their team. Main responsibilities: - develop and implement integrated procurement strategies to support business objectives, implementing and managing the supplier register; - build and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring the best prices, quality, and delivery times; - manage and optimize buyer activities by category to ensure punctual deliveries, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with processes; - develop budget management for purchases, ensuring alignment with company financial objectives in terms of expected savings; - continuously monitor activities and track KPIs related to procurement operations; - observe, analyze, implement, and improve purchasing processes; - manage the assigned team, developing their skills. Your Profile We are looking for a manager who has vision, ability to observe, analyze, implement, and improve the entire procurement process. Confidence in using IT systems is complete. FUNDAMENTAL REQUIREMENTS - Preferable degree in engineering or another technical-economic field; - Excellent familiarity with ERP management software (SAP); - At least 10 years of experience in sectors with production on commission and supply chain in complex companies; - Provenance from productive sectors; - Excellent knowledge of the English language; - Leadership & project management.
