TECHNICAL MANAGER - PACKAGING MACHINERY DIVISION

For a leading client in its reference sector, we are looking for a TECHNICAL MANAGER FOR A BUSINESS UNIT DEDICATED TO PACKAGING MACHINERY.

The resource, reporting to the General Manager, will coordinate the Business Unit from an operational and financial point of view and will be responsible for the technical-commercial definition of projects related to machines and plants, with responsibility for achieving the set objectives for the division.

The resource will have the following responsibilities:

• In coordination with the General Management of the plant, definition of the strategic direction for the

maximization of the Business Unit's results and the achievement of business objectives;

• Coordination and monitoring of specific project objectives;
• Supervision of the BU's economic-financial aspects;
• Market analysis and business development;
• Direction of the BU for all operational aspects: from technical-commercial responsibility, to the supervision of design, development, construction and installation of machines, to the economic management of projects and the BU, to safety direction and the training and development of internal staff, to achieve the expected performance.

The ideal candidate possesses the following characteristics:

• Diploma/Degree (typically in a technical field);
• Previous experience of at least 5 years as Technical Manager, Technical Assistance Manager

in machine design and sales industries. Experience in the packaging machinery sector is a preferred requirement;

• Excellent knowledge of the English language (minimum level B2);
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent relational, communication, and resource management skills;
• Proven ability to work in a team;
• Knowledge of mechanical drawing;
• Availability for business travel

Salary Package and Employment Terms:

Executive level (Quadro), Gross Annual Salary 68-78K + MBO 15% + Company Car + Meal Vouchers
