Production Manager - Turning

For a metalworking company in Lonigo, we are seeking a Production Manager to take on the coordination of production activities, ensuring effective management of departments, workloads, and priorities, while respecting deadlines defined with clients.

The role will be operational and managerial, with a strong focus on production planning, performance monitoring, and process improvement.

The person hired will be responsible for:

• managing and coordinating production activities, organizing departments and their respective workloads;
• planning production according to priorities and deadlines agreed with clients;
• monitoring and analyzing productivity data, identifying potential areas for improvement;
• proposing and developing programs and interventions aimed at improving production processes;
• coordinating activities entrusted to third-party companies, ensuring their integration with internal scheduling;
• collaborating with the Purchasing Department in managing and monitoring raw material stocks;
• analyzing data related to stock, contributing to ensuring effective management in relation to production needs;
• managing and updating Bill of Materials (BOM) within the scope of their activities;
• using and interpreting mechanical drawings, also in relation to production activities and control gauges.

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in a production environment, with particular interest in profiles from the turning sector and/or the production of copper and steel piping.

The following are required:

• experience in production management and coordination;
• ability to plan activities and organize production departments;
• good ability in reading technical and mechanical drawings;
• good knowledge of the English language;
• ability to analyze productivity and stock data;
• experience in workload management;
• competencies in process improvement;
• knowledge of CAD/CAM;
• knowledge of the logic for creating and managing Bill of Materials (BOM);
• knowledge related to turning and welding processes;
• good use of the Office suite

The company offers a permanent contract and a salary commensurate with actual experience and skills, not exceeding €50,000 gross per year.
