Quality & Management Control Manager

Manpower Professional is looking for a Quality & Management Control Manager for a historic and solid manufacturing company in Osimo, specialized in surface treatments, industrial painting, and high added value finishes for leading Made in Italy companies.

The figure, reporting directly to Management, will have a key role in monitoring production and quality performance, daily supporting production in data analysis, identifying critical issues, and implementing continuous improvement actions. The management of the company's quality system is an integral part of the role, but the main focus will be on overseeing production processes and process quality.

Main responsibilities

• Collection, analysis, and monitoring of production and quality data from the departments.
• Definition, monitoring, and analysis of production and quality KPIs.
• Operational oversight of production activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and process efficiency.
• Identification and classification of internal non-conformities, assigning them to the originating department and defining related corrective actions.
• Analysis of scrap, inefficiencies, and production criticalities, with the identification and implementation of continuous improvement projects.
• Structuring and overseeing the data flow from the production department to the management system, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of information used for analysis.
• Preparation of reporting and analysis to support business decisions.
• Industrial management control activities, including monitoring costs, margins, and performance indicators.
• Management and monitoring of the company's Quality System.
• Supervision of activities related to UNI EN ISO 9001 and UNI EN ISO 14001 certifications.
• Management of relationships with customers, certification bodies, and external auditors.
• Management of product and process non-conformities, promoting preventive and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Proven experience of at least 3 years in the role of Quality Manager or similar positions gained in mechanical engineering companies or similar manufacturing contexts.
• Excellent knowledge of quality management systems and regulations UNI EN ISO 9001 and UNI EN ISO 14001, with experience in managing internal and external audits and in liaising with certification bodies.
• Experience in analyzing production performance, defining KPIs, and monitoring industrial processes.
• Experience in implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement projects aimed at waste reduction and cost optimization.
• Knowledge of industrial management control principles and cost analysis.
• Experience in using ERP systems for collecting and analyzing production data; familiarity with Business Intelligence tools is a preferred asset.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to work closely with production departments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to combine analytical and operational vision with a continuous improvement-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with Management, production, customers, suppliers, and certification bodies.
