Maintenance Manager - Foundry

Our client is an organization of 1200 employees with 120 years of activity and 7 sites in Italy, active in the

production of aluminum alloy castings, gravity or low-pressure die-cast and die-cast, mechanically machined and then assembled.

The production is entirely dedicated to the Automotive market and is destined for some of the largest groups operating in the sector.

Position

For two production units in Bergamo, we are looking for a Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency and continuity of the production plants.

The individual will be responsible for:

• Coordinating ordinary, extraordinary, and preventive maintenance activities on the plants and, if necessary, intervening to support the team;
• Managing the necessary spare parts and their stock levels;
• Reducing machine downtime through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions;
• Defining and monitoring maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, plant availability);
• Introducing preventive and predictive maintenance logic (TPM);

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance management roles in companies in the foundry sector or service management roles in companies producing machinery for foundries;
• Technical degree;
• Knowledge of advanced maintenance methodologies (TPM, preventive/predictive maintenance);
• Practical and problem-solving oriented approach;
• Knowledge of the English language.

Indicative Gross Annual Salary: €50,000 - €55,000
