Financial Service Responsible

The HES-SO Valais-Wallis forms X students and studentesses and contributes, through research, to economic and social development as well as job creation. Following the upcoming retirement of the incumbent, in order to coordinate and supervise all his financial activities, the HES-SO Valais-Wallis is putting out to tender the position of: Financial Service Responsible (100%). You are a recognized and committed person for several years with success in the field of financial management and the ability to work independently. Your main tasks will be to manage the financial service, ensure the proper functioning of the accounting system, prepare and monitor budgets, as well as provide support to the various departments of the institution. The ideal candidate should have a degree in finance or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in financial management. Knowledge of accounting software such as SAP or similar is an asset. You will work closely with the incumbent until his retirement and then take over the responsibilities of the position. The working language is French, but knowledge of English is an advantage.
