Main Responsibilities:

- Carrying out feasibility studies starting from customer Product Data Sheets

- Defining project objectives, costs, and timelines

- Interacting with customers and suppliers to define the technical aspects of the product

- Discussion and interaction with other company departments

- Conceptualizing the technical solution and participating in project development

- Supervising projects developed by individual designers

- Researching and selecting, together with Buyers, the materials/components to be used in the project

- Preparing documentation accompanying projects according to APQP

- Supervising prototype development

- Supporting engineering and supervising the design of production lines and the necessary tools/molds.

Requirements:

- Education: Preference for a degree in Mechanics or Mechatronics

- Written and spoken English language proficiency (minimum B2)

- IT skills: familiarity with the Office package and CATIA V5 software

- Organizational skills and attention to detail, teamwork, flexibility, and adaptability

- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Technical drawing and product design skills

- Effective communication and negotiation skills

- Empathy and emotional intelligence

- Team leading and self-leadership skills

- Creativity and innovation

- Knowledge of the sector and technological trends

- Minimum experience: 3/5 years (preferential) as a design office team leader in the automotive sector

Offered Conditions:

- Metalworking contract: Permanent

- Working hours: Monday-Friday, central shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with 1 hour lunch break)
