Job description

We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients, a Team Leader to guide a team of technical buyers and actively contribute to the development of a Swiss industrial company recognized for its high-value-added technical projects. This role is aimed at an experienced professional who wishes to combine management, coordination, and proximity to the field. As a key link between Management, technical teams, and suppliers, you play a crucial role in the company's industrial performance. As Team Leader, you are responsible for the performance and development of your team. You will support buyers in their daily activities, assist them in the most complex negotiations, and ensure the growth of each individual's skills. The role is not limited to management: you will directly participate in decisions that commit the company, defining strategies and securing relationships with key suppliers. You will work in close collaboration with the Technical Office, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to integrate challenges from the very early stages of projects and ensure the availability of the most suitable technical solutions. Daily, you will arbitrate priorities, support sensitive projects, and ensure the achievement of objectives in terms of quality, costs, deadlines, and risk management. Responsibilities: - Lead and develop a team of technical buyers, creating an environment that fosters autonomy, collaboration, and the sharing of best practices. - Define strategies for product families and identify levers that sustainably improve the company's competitiveness. - Participate in development projects in collaboration with technical teams, contributing your expertise on supplier selection, industrial risk analysis, and procurement opportunities. - Lead the most complex tenders and intervene directly in high-impact negotiations, covering both technical and commercial aspects. - Develop long-term relationships with industrial partners, conduct supplier visits, and perform audits when necessary to secure supply and ensure the expected performance level. - Monitor and analyze supplier performance and implement necessary action plans in collaboration with various departments. - Ensure continuous monitoring of markets, new technologies, and industrial evolutions in order to anticipate future needs and support the company's development strategy. Profile: - Higher technical education, ideally complemented by a specialization in Supply Chain, management, or engineering. - Proven experience in industrial purchasing, supplemented by a successful first experience in team management or coordination. - Mastery of complex industrial environments and ease in exchanges with design offices, project teams, and suppliers. - Recognized leadership skills, ability to unite teams, and capacity to manage change. - Confirmed profile, capable of defending the company's interests while building lasting relationships with partners. - Analytical mindset, decision-making skills, and strategic vision that allow for effective intervention on high technical and economic impact issues. Languages: - Fluent French. - Essential professional English. - German is a real asset.
