Security Officer

Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring and Control

• Performs periodic checks on the security of activities and the physical condition of the site.
• Inspects buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Conducts periodic and systematic audits of discipline and cleanliness within the company premises.
• Participates in employee access control and conducts periodic checks in the locker rooms.

2. Vendor Management and External Relations

• Manages relationships with security and cleaning companies to ensure good collaboration.
• Conducts periodic checks of external companies to verify the fulfillment of contractual obligations towards Coficab (including flexibility for different shifts, depending on needs).
• Represents the company in dealings with specialized control bodies (Police, Gendarmerie).
• Validates timesheets and invoices for services rendered.
• Prepares weekly/monthly activity reports.

3. Procedures and Induction

• Participates in the creation and updating of security procedures.
• Ensures the implementation and monitoring of compliance with current legislation, the security plan, and the Internal Regulations.
• Coordinates the security induction process for new employees.

4. Logistics and Administration

• Manages individual protection and work equipment (ordering, inventory, and distribution).
• Allocates locker rooms and manages their usage.
• Supervises and participates, when necessary, in the loading of finished product deliveries and the unloading of raw materials.
• Reviews video surveillance recordings and prepares reports after each audit or whenever needed.

Requirements:

• Education Level: High School
• Experience as a security guard (or other relevant experience in the field)
• Security Guard Certificate – is an advantage
• Ability to use emergency systems and equipment
• Very good knowledge of public safety and security regulations
• Supervisory skills; attention to detail
• Integrity and professionalism
