In this moment, we are searching for a new colleague who will join the Kronospan Trading SRL team in the position of:
ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Evaluation according to legal conformity: ensuring compliance with environmental authorization, monitoring environmental indicators, performing periodic audits to verify compliance with national and European environmental legislation;
- Updating and reviewing permits, agreements, and authorizations held in the field of Environmental Protection;
- Monitoring and reporting environmental factors, identifying risks, and proposing corrective measures;
- Preparing audit reports: preparing detailed reports that include auditor findings, risk evaluation, and recommendations for improvements;
- Collaboration with environmental authorities: maintaining contact with regulatory authorities, reporting compliance, and participating in official inspections.
- Identifying and analyzing environmental risks: analyzing internal and external processes to identify environmental risks and their impact on the organization's operations;
- Promoting corrective measures: recommending necessary corrective measures to improve environmental standards;
- Waste management: documenting waste management and respecting legislative obligations;
- Training and educating employees: providing training sessions and informing employees about environmental standards and best practices.
- Promoting sustainability: being involved in sustainability initiatives and social responsibility of the organization.
Knowledge and qualifications required/requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering;
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role;
- Solid knowledge of environmental legislation;
- Communication, organization, teamwork, and self-motivation skills;
- Critical thinking and analysis;
