Submit your application and help us provide quality care to our patients. Job Summary Responsible for the assessment, treatment, and care of patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. Provides diagnostic testing, therapeutic intervention, and patient education. * Performs and assists with procedures that support the delivery of respiratory care. * Demonstrates knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment. * Participates in code/emergency situations. * Assesses patients and monitors patient response to therapy. * Maintains accurate and complete patient records. * Participates in educational activities. * Adheres to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures. * Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications What you will need: * Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care Program. * Current Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license. * Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). * Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. * Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. * Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
