Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on the proper use of respiratory equipment and therapies. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment. Demonstrate a commitment to Geisinger's values of compassion, integrity, and excellence. Job Requirements: Registered RRT or Certified CRT with current licensure and certification. High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy or related field preferred. Minimum 1 year experience as an RRT or CRT. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
