Job Duties Assesses patient respiratory status through physical examination, medical history, and diagnostic tests; develops and implements individualized treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare team members; provides respiratory therapy interventions such as aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and oxygen therapy; monitors patient's response to therapy and makes necessary adjustments; maintains accurate and detailed records of patient care; participates in quality improvement initiatives and contributes to a positive work environment. Job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field from an accredited institution Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in a hospital setting Licensure/Certification: Current RRT certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and current Pennsylvania State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members; strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently; knowledge of respiratory therapy principles and practices; ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
