Nelson City Council is seeking a skilled Resource Consents Administrator to provide high-quality administrative support in the processing and issuing of resource consents, including subdivision administration.
About this role| Kō tēnei tūranga mahi
In this position, you will:
- Maintain accurate records of resource consents within Council systems
- Manage invoicing, development contributions, and debtors administration
- Prepare reports, warrants of appointment, and information for customers and consultants
- Provide general administrative support to the Consents & Compliance team and the wider organisation

We are looking for someone who brings:
- Extensive administrative experience, with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
- An understanding of, or willingness to develop knowledge of, the resource consent process and Council operations.
