Job description
Job Title: Children’s Residential Support Worker - complex care Location: Southampton Salary : Starting from £27,580 per annum PLUS an additional £62.64 per sleep in Hours : Full-time, 39 hours per week working a shift pattern which includes long days and sleep ins. Personal care is required as part of this role. Full UK Drivers licence is required We are looking for a resilient, nurturing children's support worker to become part of our unique home, caring for young people who have complex medical needs. This is a challenging yet rewarding role, requiring a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy and understanding. You will be working with a small team to provide a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for the young people in our care. This will involve providing personal care, supporting with daily living tasks, and being a positive role model. You will also be required to work closely with the young people's families and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the needs of children and young people with complex medical needs, and be able to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals. You will be required to work a shift pattern which includes long days and sleep ins, and will be expected to be flexible and adaptable in your approach.
