SDR Electric, Plumbing & Heating Inc. is hiring a Red Seallicensed Residential Plumber to lead quality-driven residential projects across Ottawa, Kingston, and surrounding areas. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $35 to $40, full health benefits, and the chance to work in a respectful, small-team environment where your work matters.

We're not a high-volume outfit chasing numbers. We focus on doing the job right the first timewhether it's a new home rough-in, a tricky well pump install, or a major renovation. You'll work closely with our team, lead your own jobs, and represent a company that values professional integrity and long-term client trust.

What You'll Do

• Full-cycle residential and light commercial plumbing installations
• Lead plumbing scopes on new custom builds and renovations
• Interpret blueprints and job specs accurately
• Troubleshoot and complete service and repair work
• Install and maintain well pumps and pressure systems (preferred)
• Communicate clearly with builders, clients, and coworkers
• Ensure code compliance and top-quality work from start to finish

What You Bring

• 309A Plumber (Red Seal) Certificate of Qualification
• 3-5+ years of residential plumbing experience
• Strong skills in layout and new construction installs
• Class G driver's license and clean record
• Bonus: experience with well systems and rural plumbing setups
• A mindset of professionalism, problem-solving, and follow-through
• Willingness to travel within a service area spanning Ottawa, Kingston, and Cornwall
