About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Residential Care Officer to provide person-centred support to participants in shared and supported accommodation. The role also involves limited coordination and documentation tasks to assist the Service Manager in maintaining smooth and compliant service operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide daily living assistance, including personal care and community support.
2. Implement and monitor Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
3. Maintain accurate progress notes, incident reports, and risk assessments.
4. Support participants to achieve independence and social participation goals.
5. Liaise with families, guardians, allied health professionals, and support coordinators.
6. Assist the Service Manager with rostering, communication, and documentation as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Certificate III or IV in Individual Support / Community Services (or equivalent).
2. At least 1 year of experience in disability, community, or residential care.
3. Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check.
4. Current First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling training.
5. Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (preferred).
6. Highly regarded: MBA in Health Service Management or related qualification demonstrating service coordination or leadership skills.
