Resident Engineer

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer specializing in Roads to join a leading engineering consultancy in Durban. Responsibilities: Oversee the construction and maintenance of road projects Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation Supervise construction teams and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations Manage project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures Review and approve project documentation, including reports, plans, and drawings Ensure that all projects are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in road engineering construction and maintenance Strong understanding of road design and construction principles Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Familiarity with relevant software, such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
