Job description
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Responsible for successfully coordinating and directing retail and resident dining operations for the site
- Direct daily operations including working with the executive chef on menus and promotions, purchasing/ordering, inventory, scheduling
- Manage financials for the retail program including labour cost, food cost, inventory, equipment and materials
- Supervise, mentor, and monitor supervisors and evaluate performance to ensure a high level of productivity and the best use of team member capabilities
- Ensure that the annual retail objectives are achieved
- Maintain operating standards and implement quality improvements
- Promote and assist in the marketing of the retail program
- Constant analysis of the retail performance; identifying efficiencies and areas of opportunity
- Ensure compliance of all Company and Client standards and Provincial/Federal Legislation
- Ensure compliance to all Food Safety and Physical Safety Policies and Procedures
