This is what you will do

You will lead, train, and coach medical personnel in the role of Observer, Trainer, or Evaluator. You will develop and assess medical cases so that they align well with the learning objectives of the training. During exercises, you will guide these cases and provide the medical information necessary to achieve the training objectives.

Within your field, you will provide information, instruction, and training. You will gather and verify information, delve into subjects, and thoroughly prepare your lessons and presentations. Afterwards, you will evaluate them for continuous improvement.

You will provide task-oriented training and conduct assessments, especially for General Military Nurses (AMVers). You will also guide Assistant Military Doctors (AMAs) during training and exercises, with a focus on primary care.

In addition, you will sometimes strengthen operational teams (such as AMAs, AMVs, and Role 1 teams). You will ensure that the quality of care remains good and improves where possible.

This is where you will work

You will work within the Operational Healthcare (OGZ) department of the Air Force. This department makes an important contribution to military healthcare and Combat Support. This is done within the (inter)national medical chain, both during the preparation and during the execution of the most important tasks of the Ministry of Defence.

In addition to MTF Role 1 care with flight medical expertise, the OGZ specializes in the aeromedical evacuation (AE) of sick and wounded, including 24/7 Strategic AE as SSM, providing flight medical expertise, offering expertise within Hygiene and Preventive Healthcare and Force Health Protection (HPG/FHP), and medical planning.
