Your new job

Between paper and product lies the most exciting part. At botario, you'll take the latest ideas from AI research – Speech, LLMs, multimodal models – and find out what really works: reproduce, understand, expand, and transfer to production-ready systems.

You will be working on

• You follow the research and open-source landscape systematically and identify approaches that are relevant for us
• You reproduce promising papers and models and validate whether the results hold what they promise
• You design and run your own experiments: ablations, benchmarks, clean evaluations
• You expand existing approaches with your own ideas – especially in the area of Text-To-Speech and Speech-To-Text
• You transfer your results together with the team into productive systems

The qualifications you need

• You have a strong ML background (e.g. from studies, promotion or practice) and very good PyTorch knowledge
• You read papers not just, but implement them – and quickly notice where the gaps between paper and reality lie
• You work experimentally clean: reproducible setups, fair comparisons, honest results
• You have very good programming skills in Python and are not afraid to tackle unfamiliar topics
• Desirable: own projects, publications or open-source contributions in the ML field – Speech experience is a plus, but no requirement
• You work well in a team and with agile methods
