Job Location: Neuros Job Summary The clinical lab is looking for Research Officer to support ultra-high throughput sequencing projects, such as precision medicine and population genomics. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in molecular biology, bioinformatics, or related fields, with experience in high-throughput sequencing data analysis, particularly in the context of precision medicine and population genomics. Responsibilities: • Support research projects involving ultra-high throughput sequencing technologies, including data generation, processing, and interpretation. • Collaborate with researchers to design and execute experiments, analyze results, and draw conclusions. • Develop and maintain databases and bioinformatics tools for storing, managing, and analyzing large-scale genomic data sets. • Participate in the development of research protocols, study designs, and statistical analyses. • Assist in the preparation of manuscripts, presentations, and reports for publication or presentation at scientific conferences. Requirements: • Master's degree in molecular biology, bioinformatics, genetics, or a related field. • At least 2 years of experience in high-throughput sequencing data analysis, preferably in the context of precision medicine and population genomics. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders. • Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and programming languages such as Python, R, or Perl. • Experience with genomic data analysis software such as Genome Analysis Toolkit (GATK), Picard, or Samtools.
