Research Manager

Established in 2020 through the merger of Auckland Clinical Studies (ACS) and Christchurch Clinical Studies Trust (CCST), NZCR is at the forefront of early-phase clinical research in New Zealand. With over 35 years of combined research excellence, we have successfully completed 750 trials involving 15,000 participants, showcasing our commitment to advancing medical research. Our physician-led, world-class research units across New Zealand conduct complex studies in both healthy participants and patient populations. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Manager to lead our clinical trial coordination team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical research, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include: • Providing strategic guidance and oversight to clinical trial coordinators; • Developing and implementing effective study protocols and procedures; • Collaborating with investigators, sponsors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines; • Ensuring accurate and timely data collection and reporting; • Maintaining a high level of quality control and assurance throughout the research process. In addition to your clinical research experience, you will have: • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., medicine, nursing, health sciences); • At least 5 years of experience in clinical trial coordination or management; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
