At SBS, our research spans various areas, including infectious diseases, immunology, neurodegenerative diseases, telomere biology, and genome function. Over the years, SBS has attracted talented individuals from around the world and Singapore to join us in our pursuit of scientific excellence. We are now seeking a Research Fellow/Research Associate to join our team at the Monoclonal Antibody Discovery and Engineering group. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of novel monoclonal antibodies for various applications, including diagnostics, therapeutics, and research tools. Key responsibilities include: • Design, expression, and characterization of recombinant monoclonal antibodies; • Development of novel antibody-based technologies and assays; • Collaboration with researchers from diverse disciplines to identify and validate targets for monoclonal antibody development; • Contribution to the writing of research papers and presentations at conferences; • Participation in team meetings and discussions on project progress and future directions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related fields, with experience in recombinant DNA technology, protein expression, and characterization. A Ph.D. in a relevant field is required. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently as well as collaboratively within the team.
