Job description
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly ambitious person to work in the Research and Development department. The individual will be required to work in a team and the nature of the work will be mainly project based. You must be innovative, commercially minded and really enjoy research and solving complex problems. The R&D department is constantly working on exciting projects that arise based on the needs of the business & its clients. The projects are focused on building, maintaining, and improving our supplier networks and product offerings.
SKILLS SET AND DESIRED COMPETENCIES
• Excellent use of the English language in the following areas
° Reading with comprehension
° Written communication
° Verbal communication
• Confident and persuasive in communications with suppliers
• Ability to proactively identify problems, and think of creative solutions
• Excellent business acumen
• Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to adapt within the ever-changing business environment
• Well organized to be able to run multiple projects concurrently
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Excellent high school and university results
• Professional qualification – business related qualification can be advantageous
