Research Analyst (Modelling) in Max Institute of Healthcare Management

Job Purpose To design and implement network and epidemiological models that simulate wastewater flow and disease transmission patterns, ultimately evaluating the operational and public health impact of Wastewater and Environmental Surveillance programs in India. Job Outline This position provides an excellent opportunity for extensive hands‐on research experience modelling wastewater networks and disease transmission in a population and cost-effectiveness analysis. The Research Associate will be responsible for developing and implementing network models that simulate wastewater flow and disease transmission patterns, as well as evaluating the operational and public health impact of Wastewater and Environmental Surveillance programs in India. This includes designing and conducting studies to evaluate the effectiveness of different surveillance strategies and identifying areas where improvements can be made. The Research Associate will also be responsible for developing and implementing epidemiological models that simulate disease transmission patterns and evaluating the impact of different interventions on disease transmission. Additionally, the Research Associate will be expected to collaborate with other researchers and stakeholders to identify research priorities and develop research proposals. The position provides an excellent opportunity for extensive hands-on research experience in a population and cost-effectiveness analysis.
