Research Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Research Analyst to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring trading hours and market holiday information across global markets to ensure the database remains 100% accurate. The clients include leading banks, hedge funds, and other financial institutions, so accuracy and consistency are critical.

This position is fully remote with flexible hours but requires dedication and focus. You will work closely with the existing research team based in the Philippines and Argentina, supporting expanded coverage during the African and Eastern European time zones.

• Monitor assigned market sources daily, including websites, news feeds, and email alerts.
• Update and maintain trading hours and holiday data in our internal systems.
• Backfill and verify historical data to improve overall database accuracy.
• Collaborate with other team members to cross-check information and ensure data consistency.
• Report any anomalies or updates in a timely and accurate manner.

Salary: $1200 / month

Type of Work: Full time remote

Work Schedule: GMT+2 timezone hours

Requirements

• In depth background in a remote set-up of work similar to freelancing as an Independent Contractor (deep understanding on the pros & cons involved in this industry).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes carefully.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and maintaining high accuracy levels.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel) is a plus.
• Basic programming or data skills (Python, SQL) are helpful but not required.
• Any financial knowledge or market awareness is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection (with backup).
