Tasks:

• Specification and development of innovative and complex communication systems in the field of air traffic control (Air Traffic Control, ATC) - Derivation of the effects of new security and security standards on product level - Capturing and transforming customer requirements into technical system solutions - Comprehensive consideration of the communication system architecture under derivation of use cases, function chains, and interfaces - Collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g. sales, product and project management, research & development, central security/safety departments) - Planning and implementation of verification-, validation- and acceptance strategy in coordination with the customer - Ensuring installed performance at the customer's site

Qualifications:

• Degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications or a comparable field/education - Demonstrated experience in model-based systems engineering (SysML) - Must-have: Knowledge of use cases or function chains from air traffic control systems (Air Traffic Control, ATC) - Experience in the area of product and system safety (Safety/Security) is advantageous - Functional thinking ability as well as the ability to recognize and understand the big picture - Secure handling of tools for requirements management (e.g. JAMA, DOORS), model-based systems engineering and testing (e.g. CAMEO, Enterprise Architect) - Willingness to take responsibility in an interdisciplinary team that works on future-oriented technologies in an innovative environment - Verhandlungssichere German and English language skills in writing and speaking round out your profile
