Requirements Engineer Software Development (m/w/d)

As a Requirements Engineer, you design the foundation for successful software products with us. You analyze requirements, structure technical needs, and translate these into clear, executable specifications for our development teams.

Tasks

• You analyze technical and functional requirements and translate these into clear, executable specifications
• You work out, together with other stakeholders, the technical requirements for new features and software updates in the form of User Stories and Acceptance Criteria in Jira
• You are in close exchange with the Product Owner, the Product Management, and the development teams to sharpen requirements and develop common solutions
• You keep the legal and contractual provisions in mind when creating User Stories and ensure their compliance
• You identify dependencies, risks, and optimization potential in existing processes
• You take over the internal and external documentation of software updates in Confluence, as well as the review and acceptance of the software updates you specified

Qualification

• You have acquired a profound technical understanding through your previous professional experience (at least 3 years)
• You have knowledge and experience in agile project management and are familiar with the corresponding tools like Jira
• You can read API documentation and perform API requests using Postman to check the usability of the APIs for the applications to be created
• You communicate clearly and structuredly with different stakeholders and can present complex issues in a comprehensible manner
• You have a high sense of responsibility and the claim to work independently and goal-oriented
• You react flexibly and sovereignly to changing requirements and keep the overview
• You have very good German and good English skills
