Job Description Beat Coverage: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of assigned beats, including but not limited to politics, business, education, entertainment, or sports. Source Management: Cultivate and expand a network of reliable sources within the assigned beats to stay ahead of news developments. News Reporting: Gather information from various sources, conduct interviews, and write engaging articles for publication in print and online editions. Sub Editing: Review and edit news stories, features, and other content for accuracy, clarity, and style. Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, including editors, designers, and photographers to ensure seamless production of publications. Time Management: Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively to deliver high-quality work under pressure. Adaptability: Stay up-to-date with changing trends, technologies, and industry developments to continuously improve reporting skills.
