Remote Operations Center (ROC) SCADA Operations Analyst

Company Description Matics LAB (Part of Matics Solutions) is a 24x7 Monitoring Services company catering the needs of 24x7 Monitoring & Analysis of all the Renewable Energy Clients across the Globe. It's part of Matics Solutions, a company mainly focusing on Expert Consulting in building ROC/NOC setups to Renewable Energy clients. Role Description We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented SCADA Monitoring Engineer to join our 24/7 Remote Operations Center. The candidate will continuously monitor and analyze SCADA systems, ensuring optimal performance and rapid response to any anomalies. Key Responsibilities: * Monitor and analyze SCADA systems and related infrastructure. * Identify, diagnose, and resolve system issues promptly. * Maintain detailed logs of incidents and resolutions. * Collaborate with other teams to troubleshoot and escalate complex problems. * Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs). * Create and maintain dashboards and reports for performance monitoring. * Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support. * Proactively identify opportunities for system optimization and improvement. * Ensure data integrity and system security. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience. * Experience with SCADA systems (e.g., Siemens, GE, Schneider Electric, etc.). * Understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850). * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus. * Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices is a plus. * Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.
