Remote Java Backend Engineer

About the projects: we are building LLM evaluation and training datasets to train LLM to work on realistic software engineering problems. One of our approaches, in this project, is to build verifiable SWE tasks based on public repository histories in a synthetic approach with human-in-the-loop; while expanding the dataset coverage to different types of tasks in terms of programming language, difficulty level, and etc. About the Role: We are looking for experienced software engineers (tech lead role) who will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining our Java-based backend systems. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, collaborating with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into our systems, and ensuring that all code is well-documented, tested, and meets our high standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, experience with Java-based technologies, and a passion for building scalable and maintainable systems.
