Remote Canadian ESL Instructor

We are seeking Online Canada-Bound Adult ESL Instructors to meet increasing demand in our educational sector. Opportunities for advancement and a youth program are also available. Position Information: Full-time or part-time roles teaching mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field, and a TEFL/TESOL certification. The instructor will be responsible for teaching English as a Second Language to adult learners, using a variety of teaching methods and materials. The instructor will also be expected to participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the development of course materials. The instructor will work closely with the course development team to create engaging and effective lesson plans. The instructor will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of student progress and providing feedback to students. The instructor will work independently, but will be part of a team of instructors who will collaborate to achieve common goals. The instructor will be expected to be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing hours as the program grows. The instructor will be required to have a reliable computer and internet connection, and a quiet and dedicated workspace. The instructor will be expected to be available for a minimum of 6 months, with the possibility of extending the contract beyond that time. The instructor will be paid a competitive hourly rate, with the possibility of increasing pay as the program grows. The instructor will also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement plan. The instructor will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and a confidentiality agreement. The instructor will be expected to maintain the confidentiality of student information and program materials. The instructor will be required to adhere to the program's policies and procedures, and to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times.
