Job description
As Reliability Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring the optimal and reliable operation of production installations. You strive to achieve maximum availability of our assets by implementing a suitable maintenance strategy at an economically reasonable cost. You build proactive maintenance and improve curative maintenance methods with extra focus on bad actors.
Your goal is to analyze and prevent recurring failures and product losses, and provide support for improvement initiatives.
You work closely together with other departments such as Production, Maintenance, Procurement, Engineering, and you are the first point of contact for questions regarding spare parts (spareparts).
MAIN TASKS
- You evaluate the criticality of installations based on MTBF, MTTR, loss costs, and possible impact on environment and safety.
- You identify bad actors based on maintenance and downtime costs.
- You screen existing PO plans via PMO-method (Preventive Maintenance Optimization).
- You perform failure analyses according to iRCA method and implement the improvements and changes that arise from this.
- You ensure all changes to the installation are made through the standard MOC procedure.
- You provide technical support to other departments regarding your field of expertise.
- You introduce and implement new proactive techniques.
- You are aware of costs and report possible opportunities for savings.
- You have a degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent by experience, with some years of maintenance experience.
- You are analytically inclined and have an aptitude for Root Cause Analyses and CBM techniques (which can be further developed).
- Good knowledge of computer systems. SAP-PM module is a plus (which can be trained on).
- Polyvalent technical knowledge of maintenance strategies and repair & wear techniques.
- Polyvalent technical knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, etc.
- You see safety as a priority and carry this out to the rest of the organization.
- You are driven and organizationally strong. You possess good communication skills and a healthy dose of persuasiveness.
- You speak fluent Dutch and English.
- You are willing to participate in the week shift.
