Release or Project Manager Project Lead (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced Release or Project Manager / Project Lead (m/f/d) to support and coordinate local release management in a demanding IT environment. Your tasks: - Coordination and control of software releases - Coordination with business units, operations, and relevant stakeholders - Review of release notes and planning of required resources - Preparation, accompaniment, and documentation of tests and acceptances - Monitoring of release behavior and initiation of measures in case of disruptions - Steering and follow-up of work packages in the release environment - Ensuring smooth rollout and operation Your profile: - At least 3 years of experience in software projects as a Release or Project Manager or Project Lead - At least 3 years of experience in software projects in a complex and distributed system landscape - Application of ITSM processes - Very good knowledge of the German language in spoken and written form (native speaker or language level C2 according to the European Framework of Reference - proof by indication in the qualification profile or certificate) Award criteria - Must-haves: - Experience in software projects (preferably backend procedures) as Release or Project Manager / Project Lead - at least 5 years of experience - Experience in software projects in a complex and distributed system landscape - 5 to 10 years of experience - Application of ITSM processes - at least 1 year of experience with Incident / Release and Change Management and experience with ITSM tools such as Jira - Experience in creating documentation - Experience in creating requirements specifications / detailed designs - Experience in creating, for example, minutes, release notes, etc., based on web-based technologies (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint) - Basic knowledge in software packaging on Linux or Windows - Basic knowledge in installation on Linux or software distribution in Windows - Experience with the KONSENS project - knowledge of the project, its goals, and the implementation strategy Involvement within a KONSENS organizational unit (Nice-to-haves) Framework - Start: from January 2027 - Long-term perspective with calls up to 18 months - Hybrid deployment with regular on-site presence in Düsseldorf We look forward to your application!
