Relationship Manager Accountancy

Are you an experienced relationship manager or AA accountant who likes to be closer to the entrepreneur? At ONE Accountants, you will get your own SME portfolio and you will be the fixed point of contact for clients for figures, advice, and entrepreneurial questions.

This role is suitable for someone who wants to do more than just prepare annual accounts and file tax returns. You want to understand what's behind the numbers, think ahead with entrepreneurs, and help colleagues grow in their work.

Your Role

As an Accountancy Relationship Manager, you are the fixed point of contact for a diverse group of SME entrepreneurs. You combine technical accountancy knowledge with personal client contact and practical advice.

You will be involved in, among other things:

• Managing and further expanding your own client portfolio;
• Preparing and reviewing annual financial statements;
• Filing and checking tax returns;
• Discussing annual and interim figures with clients;
• Identifying financial and tax advisory opportunities;
• Advising entrepreneurs on business economic and financial issues;
• Acting as a sparring partner for important entrepreneurial decisions;
• Guiding colleagues and reviewing their work where necessary.

You don't wait for a client to ask a question, but actively look at what the numbers tell you. You see where opportunities, risks, or areas for improvement lie and know how to discuss this with entrepreneurs in an understandable way.

Who We Are Looking For

You are strong in your field and believe in building a sustainable relationship with clients. You easily connect with entrepreneurs and can clearly explain financial information.

We are looking for someone who recognizes themselves in the following:

• You have several years of experience in accountancy, preferably with SME clients;
• You have experience with compilation work and tax returns;
• You have completed an AA education or are well advanced in it;
• You enjoy direct client contact and know how to build trust;
• You are a strong communicator and make financial information understandable;
• You work independently but also enjoy collaboration with colleagues;
• You have the ambition to further develop yourself as an advisor and relationship manager.
