Rehabilitation Consultant - Psychologist, Social Worker or Rehab Counsellor

Job description

About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work or Psychology (5th year- Masters Degree required for Psychology applicants)
  • Registration with AHPRA, AASW or ASORC
  • Passionate about helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plans

The Role
  • Deliver assessments & counselling to people who are grappling with a sudden change in their career goals and circumstances
  • Conduct assessments to help guide people toward their new career
  • Collaborate and build relationships with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients
  • Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and design, implement and monitor programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce
  • Visit workplaces to understand the challenges injured and ill workers may face and educating employers on the health benefits of good work
