Our client is seeking a dynamic Training & Development Lead to spearhead capability building, consultant performance, and team excellence across their growing organisation. Based in Sydney, this full-time leadership role is designed for someone who thrives on coaching, mentoring, and raising professional standards—without the pressures of managing a caseload.

This is your opportunity to become the go-to expert for onboarding, professional development, and continuous improvement within a respected occupational rehabilitation provider. You’ll shape best-practice frameworks, mentor consultants at all levels, and play a pivotal role in building a confident, skilled, and high-performing team.

About the Role
  • Design and deliver training programs tailored to consultants across different career stages
  • Provide hands-on mentoring to guide consultants toward clinical and professional milestones
  • Track outcomes and analyse performance data to refine and evolve learning strategies
  • Collaborate with internal experts to enhance training resources and development pathways
  • Take ownership of all learning and development activities, managing priorities across the business
  • Implement initiatives that strengthen efficiency, consultant confidence, and long-term retention
  • Contribute to strategic planning by advising senior leaders on workforce capability and performance
  • Align training programs with organisational goals, values, and client outcomes
  • Build and sustain a culture of excellence through proactive coaching and best-practice leadership

What you will need:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counsellor
  • Full AHPRA, ASORC or ESSA registration
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Passionate about quality, growth, and mentoring
  • Confident leader with strong people skills
  • Skilled in designing and delivering training
